@ work, ftp uploading stuff, testing a program that takes a 2 full minutes to shut it down, well, either program close or error message showing it crashed.

finally it's friday and i get a break to rest during the weekend. still waiting for that paycheck to come next week so i can buy myself something for chinese new year :x

Time has come. My job search is coming to an end and now I have to decide what's the next move. It's kinda exciting, finally working in a real job, unlike teaching English here and there. Would be a good time to escape from home again since I got back from US.

Last night, again, I had a fight w/ Dad. When he failed to enjoy a good night sleep the night before, he is swollen in immense anxiety and will burst out his anger on just about anything. This has been the case for decades, since I became aware of this situation, which is pretty much my whole life time. What should I do? I love my dad, but his uncontrollable anger is just like a volcano that can erupt just about anytime.

Taipei here I come. I hope to establish something of significance soon, at least living indepedently. As for Dad, I pray to God that someday, his/her kind embrace will set you free from that hatred in the bottom of your heart.

ugh.

Got my grade report on TAITRA test. By all means, I have no intention to work in TAITRA, but come on... my chinese writing score is 67 and my english writing score is 4 points!?

How'd hell did I get only 4 points on English writing? Something fishy going on in the grading system here.

On top of that, I forgot to send in my TOEIC score @ the first day I got them (only thru email, no paper report yet), and therefore I got a big fat zero on the part for TOEIC score....

dang it... I gotta find a way to keep track of things... *sigh

PS. oh, I'm on facebook. Although I still have no idea how to use that thing...

My dad bombarded me w/ insults and suspicions of any wrong doings he could think of every single day.

My step-mom isn't helping either. She monitored me like a 3 yr old. Calling me every 2 hr to see where I was and what I was doing.

I don't want to do anything stupid at this time.

But just to get away from all the hatred toward me at "home".

*sigh

I miss America. I miss all my friends. I miss my mom.

This weekend I'm off to Taipei to look for work. Wish me luck. Maybe this unexpected move will speed up my wish to be independent.

it stings everytime when this happens.

What's with young girls and their obession w/ tall guys? I get the short end of the stick for just being who I am. Must I fit into one of those short, rich, high achiever status to have the power to attract the attention I want? It hurts. As always.

I will become stronger. But nonetheless I can't help to think that this society has put the non perfect gene people behind the superior ones that are decided by stereotype.

It's a shame.

This is a rant. But also a great opportunity to drive myself to succeed. Until then, enjoy while it lasts (damn you tall guys), I will become filthy rich and you all will then work for me w/ underpaid wages. Suckers.

Gosh

I am having such mixed feeling right now. I just got back from tea house place. Having the girl's number in my hand, I can't feel any excitement.

I went to the place w/ a friend and told him about my little crush on the girl. He was kind enough to go w/ me. It made a big difference for me to finally have the guts to ask for her number. I asked. She dodged the question by saying what number. Then I said your number. Then the usual "oh but I already have a bf". So I just blah it out that I just wanna be friends b/c I just got back from abroad (why'd hell did I say that for?.. >.< )

So yah, she gave me her number which I haven't tried it yet and I already felt dizzy w/ the whole thing.

But all in all, I did get the number, regardless of real or not. Finally got this thing done, something that I have to go out of my way to force myself to get over the shyness.

At last, I don't need to go back to that tea place and order some expensive tea that my salary definitely cannot afford anymore. whew.

Oh ya, studying for grad school now in full speed... starting... tomorrow... crap... @.@

wow, from 9/22 till today, it's been a little over 6 months. That's how long I've been in this sub military program. Didn't really collect my thoughts together to compose this post so I'll just randomly poop stuff on it as I go along :P

Work is decent so far. Most of my days as a "government" (cheap) employee, I do some chores such as photocopying, paper shredding, and some computer troubleshooting (the most time consuming task so far... seems like people who work in the gov have extremely poor knowledge about technology...)

New People.
On top of 40 guys who live in the same building w/ me (the other sub military cheap labors like me), I've made quite a few friends and get to know peeps from work. Some chicas (part-time working students) and coworkers (the real gov employees). Most are very decent people that are in my department of MoFA (Ministry of Foreign Affair). My boss is a very cool guy who used to live in Chicago for a long time and we get along very well when we're communicating like Americans.

Near future plan.
Decided on doing grad school in Taiwan, I start picking up books again (although @ a very slow pace... VERY ^.^;; ) Free spanish lecture offered by MoFA employee training center should start next week, a good time to refresh my poor espanol memory... so ya... more studying and exercising... less gaming and getting fat.. >.<

Now... peeps... update your blog damn it... I'm bored @ work again...
